Hunkemöller, Germany’s largest lingerie chain, presented their collection in Berlin for the first time – with Sylvie van der Vaart making her hotly anticipated catwalk debut. The curtain rose and the audience were immersed in the dramatic setting and stage design; for one night only, the Berliner Ensemble—one of Germany’s most renowned theatres—was transformed into a Hollywood film set. Inspired by the theme ‘Girls on Film’, the night was an homage to the great divas of the 20’s, 50’s and 80’s. The show was a great success, not only with fashion professionals, but also numerous celebrity guests including Rafael van der Vaart, Carolina Vera, Tanja Bülter, Sara Nuru, Annika Kipp and Lee Rychter. The after-show party went down a storm, with the DJ Team ‘Ménage à Trois’ providing the entertainment. We would like to thank Mercedes-Benz, Swarovski and L’Oréal Professionnel for their support.
