More at umc.org/media. United Methodist Nico Romeijn-Stout has spent years as a camper and employee of Lazy F Camp. Romeijn-Stout is currently studying at Boston University School of Theology in Massachusetts. He talks about how Lazy F Camp supports military families through a partnership with Operation Purple and gives ideas for how churches can reach out to military families in their own communities. “Kids serve too… It can begin with simple engagement, even just one-on-one level, finding military members working with children, mentoring people, small programs can make a huge difference in their lives,” says Romeijn-Stout.
