Bon visionnage !

School short film shot with my diy dof adapter (unfinished he didn't vibrate yet). This is the project of student in first year of video production class named "road to emc".
We have to write a story, storyboard it, shot it in 3 days, edit it in 2 days. The story have to be in relation with the metro and the school.

    salut

bonne realisation bravo, on a vraiment la sensation cinema. Tres bon montage egalement.

    aller @+

Great work, visually stunning. What camera did you shoot on? How much do you sell your adapter for?

Nice film, the video-copilot intro sequence seemed a bit out of place though (very fast paced sequence, more suited to an action film than your slower paced love story?) Nice work on the adaptor, it gives a very nice super-8mm feel to the cinematography.

what is the cam you used? a hv30/20? I will look for more footage of yours. I think the adapters now are too unsharp and blurry.
  • yann KIBONGUI 2 months ago
I used, panasonic nv gs500 ans sony hvr a1.
Yes this diy adapter was unsharp and the blurry problem is cause of my fault.

Thanks for the reply. You know what? It is an idea, but you saw what happened with the DV cams, they recuded prices so fast. NObody believed in HD 4 years ago and it was so expensive. But I just want to wait for 3CCD HD cams around 800 euros (1400 dollars)

what do you use to color correct! your footage looks like film! Awesome!
  • yann KIBONGUI 1 month ago
It's more the dof adapter than the color correct. This is my second dof adapter prototype.
To color correct, I used after effects : color curves, hue saturation, luminosity contrast, levels and faux film.
