A desperate mother throws her baby boy to the ocean…
He grows up with a fish brother and learns the ocean ways.
One day the boy washes up on a beach.
The people take him in as a welcome fishing omen, bringing with him an abundant catch.
The boy seems to be able to speak with fish.
As he grows, so does the people's need for fish…
The people catch his brother fish.
The boy disappears and so do the fish…
Delve into the depths of the ocean for a fantastical tale driven by a highly physical cast of 10, with object and puppet manipulation. This devised work is set to an original score by Claire Cowan, lighting design by Vanda Karolczak, costume design by Elizabeth Whiting, set design by John Verryt and an array of marvellous sea creatures and imagery designed by Kate Parker.
