Based on a poem by Leah Thorn's for children, this animation was created by women in prison.
There were five prisoners involved in the project. They had two four hour sessions to create the animation using plastic scissors (for security reasons). It was the first time they had done anything like this before. I really enjoyed working with the women on the film.
In July 2009 the film was given a platinum Koestler Award for arts in prison.
