The Nama are an indigenous people of Southern Africa who lost their land and nomadic lifestyle to diamond mining during colonialism and apartheid. They recently won a historic land claim but lost on an unfair settlement. This is a reference film to illustrate the vivid landscapes of denuded mines and stark desert for a full length creative documentary in development. Produced by James Tayler, Directed by Robyn Rorke.
