Denver Digerati and the Denver Theatre District present Friday Flash, a monthly series of public screenings that will take place on the 14th and Champa LED screen in the heart of Downtown Denver. The program delivers a diverse mixture of outstanding work being created across the world from within the fields of animation, motion-based art and interactive new media. Friday Flash will debut on May 24th with a group show curated by Denver Digerati’s creative director Ivar Zeile and assistant Ryan Pattie, along with selections from Denver Arts & Venues’ newest curator Tariana Navas-Nieves. The program will continue with a screening each month on select Friday evenings through the summer, concluding in September with the unveiling of the DTD’s exciting new commissioned artworks. The full lineup of events can be found at denverdigerati.com
Our selections for May 24th include the following artists:

The May 24th Friday Flash will begin at Crave, located across the street from the LED screen at 14th and Champa, starting at 6pm with introductions to the program and evening’s artworks by DTD curators Ivar Zeile and Ryan Pattie, along with comments from Arts & Venues Manager of Cultural Programming Tariana Navas-Nieves. Crave’s Brandon Meyer will be serving up his FF inspired “Miracle” cocktail, served UP, both before and after the screening!
Our May 24th Friday Flash 10-second promo was designed by Denver Digerati associate curator Ryan Pattie for use on the LED screen in advance of the evening's screening. Imagery is by Protey Temen, who will have seven of his visually stunning short-form works screened during the program that night.
