HG10 / Kenko Digital Wide 0.5x / Exposure lock
2 years ago
I received a new toy in the mail today. A Kenko wide angle lens (0.5x).
I got it from this place: (German web shop)
foto-mundus.de/shop/canon-hg10-weitwinkel-kenko-kenko-high-grade-p-6490.html?osCsid=9d4691f3a639a504105fa536c3df30f5
It seems to work very well. Well worth the 60,- EUR (90,- USD).
Since it's still dark in Denmark when I leave for work and again when I ride my bicycle home, night footage is the only thing I get to post during the week :)
The HG10 movie playing on the left monitor is an official Canon release to show off the HG10. If you haven't seen it yet, get it here:
usa.canon.com/app/html/See_The_Difference/hd_cmos.shtml
The website on the right monitor:
tourismvancouver.com
is partly the reason why I ended up buying a camcorder / HG10. I am going to Vancouver, Canada in April (vacation 15 days) visiting both Vancouver, Whistler and Vancouver Island (Tofino and Victoria). I wanted to be able to capture as much of that experience as possible :)
The video is DivX @ 6000kbps 1280x720 (25p PAL).
Music by Xploding Plastix (from Norway - in honor of "Norway" the movie - playing on the left monitor).
Hope all this text makes up for the somewhat limited content of the footage :D
