Kanye seems to be in the news lately...
This past spring I was fortunate enough to be able to attend South by Southwest in Austin, TX.  I managed to weasel my way into the Perez Hilton party (pause!) while I was there.  Lady Sovereign didn't show up, so, pressed for time, Perez had to quickly find a replacement.  By the time I got into the party, all of my friends had left.  That's when Kanye went on stage unannounced to fill Lady Sovereigns void (haha, that sounds funny).  Ironically, Perez's theme for the performers was "DIVAS!"
I really enjoyed this performance.  HOWEVER, after watching some of the footage I got from the show, I noticed a few things.  Watch this video as Kanye messes up the words of "Flashing Lights," and then by the time he is performing "The Good Life" it is a full out lipsync.

It's funny I guess.  I'm still a fan of Kanye, and enjoyed this experience at SXSW.  Taylor Swift should definitely thank Kanye.  What he did is definitely going to help her career.. She will get even more air play, be more 'relevant,' and definitely sell some more records if she plays the pity card right.. Woof!
