Jai Tanju has been in the game for more than a minute. If you were to ask anyone in this series who an inspiration for their photography was, Jai's name would most definitely be one of them. As a native to San Jose and one of the most influential photographers in the skateboarding industry to date, Jai Tanju preserves a stylistic approach to both his street and skateboard photography that stands out amongst the rest. Now the owner of Seeing Things Gallery in San Jose, Jai continues to produce his own work while giving others, both friends and strangers, a chance to showcase their work in a gallery setting. In all, Jai is one of the most genuine people and photographers I have met to date, so if you're ever in San Jose keep your eyes out for this guy, he'll probably be walking his dog Frieda and taking your photo without you even knowing it.

Nich Kunz is still somewhat of a mystery to me. With an aesthetic both on the board and behind the lens that embellishes its own style, Kunz manages to keep himself below the radar while producing work that holds its own amongst the rest. I think we are all going to see a lot more of this guy in the future, so keep your eyes out.
