Fern - One Day After Rescue and Surgery

Fern is recovering after being rescued by CCHS and sheriffs from a steel leg-hold trap at a trailer park in Urbana. Her leg had been crushed beyond repair and she is emaciated. The CCHS veterinarian amputated her leg. Despite Fern's horrific ordeal, she is a friendly, affectionate cat with a wonderful loving spirit.
