This video is showing my experiential project in action. We were set the challenge of creating a non keyboard/mouse interface to control 'something'. I chose to look into colour tracking and I ended up with this application that essentially just recognizes set colours and creates a virtual key-press depending on which colour has been found.
As seen in the video this allows users to play any standard 4 key controlled game (so most arcade games), but rather than clicking the relevant keys they simply have to hold the associated colours up to the webcam. I included a control interface which allows users to change the threshold as well as the keys which are output.
Created in Processing v1.5.1 with ContolP5 library. The games seen in the video are just free online games being used to demonstrate the interface.
