The Rootsriders are a Dutch / Caribbean reggae collective, known in the Netherlands of their Tribute 2 Bob Marley live shows.

Guest performances by dancehall artist Ashwin Jaydee and super talent & Tanzanian reggae singer Mansnepa (pronounce: Mansniper).

Rootsriders / Tribute 2 Bob Marley was set-up to headline a major Bob Marley memorial concert in Amsterdam on May 11th 2006. The project toured the country the rest of that year with great success and many popular rappers/mc's featured in their exciting live shows. The past 3 years the band frequently visited Africa for tours, workshops and recording sessions with local talent. Subsequently the project evolved from being a tribute band into a music collective performing original reggae-flavoured tracks. The band started in 2007 Instrument 4 Africa. At live shows musical instruments are collected and shipped to Africa to support the numerous talented African musicians and artists they have met during their trips.
