It's that time of year again. Yes, it's the annual swarms of the invasive Formosan Termite in New Orleans. These swarms, which appear during the early evening hours in late spring, provide young termites with the opportunity to meet and mate, before - like many young couples in New Orleans - they seek a historic home in which to settle and raise a family.
I filmed this thick, snow-like swarm of termites on Maple Street in Uptown New Orleans.
