Cudlin, also winner of the second race of the QIRRCH

Alex Cudlin won also the second race of the fifth round of Qatar International Road Racing Championship and takes the 50 points these weekend. The defendant champion only needs 4 points to secure in the next round the title again of the Qatar International Road Racing Championship for third time in a row.
Cudlin started from pole and he lead all the race until the end. This race was more relaxed for him as he hadn't had to battle with Nasser Al Malki who had a problem with his bike in the second lap and had to retire. Al Malki broke the valve of his rear wheel and lost the pressure of the tyre so he had to abandon the race. Cudlin won the race with a gap of 6.002 with the second classified, Nina Prinz. The german rider made a great effort to be again in the podium despite her problem with her shoulder. Nina Prinz had a nice fight with Saeed Al Sulait who finished in third place. The fourth place was for Fahid Al Sowaidi, who was the winer in the 600 cc class.
Trophies were given by Mr. Mohammed Saad Al Morraikhi, QMMF General Secretary.

'This race was much more harder than the previous one with my pain in the shoulder but I am really happy about the points and the second position in the champion. It is unbelievable for me' Nina said after the race.
'It was a really good race. It was strange at the beginning but when I realized that Nasser had a problem with his bike, for me it was a good result. I was able to lap at consistence pace and I didn't had to push maximum and I ride easily, so this result is good for the championship' Cudlin stated at the end of the race.

Alex Cudlin is leading the championship with 224 points. Nina Prinz is in second place with 132 and Saeed Al Sulaiti is in third place with 127 points. Mishal Al Naimi is in fourth place with 116.

The next round, round 6th will be on 7th and 8th June.
