I'm working on a big 9-minute follow-up to "Learning to Fly", but it won't be ready till next summer. Meantime, here are some shots from my trip in August to California's White Mountains and Yosemite, all shot on the Canon 5D2.
These are sequences from my first film - "Southwest Light" - currently in production. If anyone happens to know a good producer or production company who might be willing to help shepherd this film to completion next Fall, I would really appreciate an introduction. Much thanks!

(Music is Michael Stearns. My sincerest and most humble admiration to Ron Fricke and Mark Magidson.)

In terms of sheparding These Short Days to completion, you should talk to the BBC worldwide. They are the most dedicated of producers of this kind of artform.
Good luck with the film.
This SO impressive. Brilliant technique and vision.
Respect!
Nick.
One question, how do you keep the dew off the lens? I always have problems with that.

Hope thats cool!
Incredible work! Looking forward to buying your DVD in the future.
You got all the big guns commenting on your latest vid which is unreal. I'd love to do some of this stuff in the Kimberley one day. Only problem is the croc's which like white meat for a midnight snack.
Keep up the good work and I'm looking forward to seeing the next 9 minute epic.
Mike
Thanks for the kind words. Your vids are legend.
Mike

Thanks¡¡¡
Can't wait to see more stuff from you next summer. I hope you get some coin backing.
Making me want to go camping in the desert right now.
so incredible.. thank you for making this!!
I noticed as the sun came up on some scenes that the stars were still visible in the sky. How is that possible without some editing of the images?
BRAVO
keep up your inspiring work, keep the pixels streaming...
