Mae Morgan Agency (MMA) was established in 2000 out of necessity. One owner’s parents were inflected with Dementia, Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. Between working full time, looking after own family needs, taking care of the parents became prohibitive. It became overwhelming when one parent would drive to the grocery store in San Fernando Valley only to be found two days later in Huntington Beach, sleeping in the car, among other less daunting but equally difficult situations.
It is our mission and goal to provide families with the best possible service, to allow a loved family member to stay in their home; in the comfortable and familiar surroundings they are accustomed to, where they feel safe & happy. Our personal attendants (PAs) will strive to fully accommodate them in any way possible, with your instructions and in keeping with their schedule. We have many capable PAs, for companionship, cooking simple meals, driving clients for doctors’ appointments or the hair salon, personal hygiene help, dressing, showers, reminders for medications as instructed by family, light housekeeping, errands, grocery shopping, etc. – all services are intended for simplicity of life and safety of the client. The PA can either come in on an hourly basis or they can live with the client as is needed by the family or client.
Respite care, for you to take a break, is available and highly recommended, just so you can take a breath and gather your thoughts.
