ABOUT THE FILM
"The Amazing Green Hat" is inspired by the Chindôgu, the Japanese art of unuseless inventions (an invention that cannot be regarded as 'useless' in an absolute sense, since they do actually solve a problem; however, in practical terms, they cannot positively be called "useful."). The hat will allow the wearer to grow a tree on his head, thereby promoting the growth of trees in any part of the world. The animation is presented as a mockumentary, like a typical Japanese product demonstration video.

MOJO is an award-winning Singapore-based motion design studio, helmed by Creative Directors Josef Lee and Cindy Liu, that specializes in direction, design, animation and branding for Film & TV. Neither of them speak nor understand Japanese.
