Ryan and I tried absinthe for the first time while in Milan. We had been warned of having "cartoon-like" reactions when taking the first sip, so we were prepared for AHHOOOOOGAAH!s and our eyes bulging out of our faces. Unfortunately, I just liked it.

    Absinthe should be green, served neat with a little melted sugar stirred into it if you are a wuss. It all goes down the same way though.

    ah yeah, it was a milky green, but that doesnt really show in the video. and we did the sugar thing with the special spoon and everything, but i think it just made it worse.
