UMass Amherst offers a diverse range of offerings for those interested in exploring the entrepreneurial career path. You can sign up for a course, discover local entrepreneurship events, seek mentoring, win funding in competitions, and find resources.

There are programs and events for the entire UMass community: undergraduates, graduate students, alumni, staff, and faculty. There are also programs that serve entrepreneurs throughout Western Massachusetts. Some activities even connect entrepreneurs to the strong community of UMass alumni & friends in Greater Boston.

Entrepreneurship courses are an excellent place to start your entrepreneurship journey. To succeed you need access to people with real-world experience. We call them mentors.
UMass programs open to students, alumni, faculty, and staff. Some of these include:

Mentors & Ventures Program (MVP) - For teams past the concept phase with a highly scalable venture and who need contact with the UMass alumni community in Greater Boston.

VentureCoach - Students, faculty, and staff can request to be connected to a network of successful alumni & friends for one-on-on help.
