In September 2012 I injured my knee, preventing me from doing leg strength training. I decided to focus on increasing my upper body strength while my knee was injured and needed to rest for a few months. I started out only being able to do 10 push-ups on the ground and barely 10 pull-ups on a bar. After 8 months of consistent training I have come to be able to do strength exercises ranging from false-grip pull-ups to a 15-second L-sit on gymnastic rings.
