As storytellers we are naturally drawn to passionate people. Realizing that weddings and love stories are not the only ones worth telling, we at Hera decided we would venture out of our comfy studio in the city to remote Barkley Sound on the West-Coast of Vancouver Island. This is where chef Johnny Bridge (he modestly refers to himself as a 'cook') and oyster farmer Rob Tryon show us what a labour of love it is to cultivate and process our favourite shellfish from the coast of beautiful British Columbia.
