Team Detroit wanted to create a one-of-a-kind live stop-frame animation using Instagram for the launch of Ford C-Max.
Bringing our tech skills to the table we created a seamless experience for users by designing a series of custom iD markers on posters where are scattered around cities in the US. Users were able to snap photos of themselves in front of the poster, then post to Instagram - These were then detected, the iD marker read, which decoded as the frame number then processed and cropped to appear in a flip book style animation online for everyone to enjoy.
