This is a short film we created for a 48 Hour Film Contest in October 2004. The idea is that you write, shoot and edit a film in 48 hours, based on certain criteria given at the start of the contest.
Within the film, we had to use a pumpkin as a prop, show the origins of Haloween, and tell the story of a hero or villian. Also, the contest had a "blood, guts and gore" theme.
We took 2nd place.

Amanda 2 years agoLong movies usually lose my attention after about the first minute, but this one kept it the entire time. I like how he (you?) said "I'm going for a walk" and then went for a drive. -
clates 2 years agoYeah, that was a mistake on my part. But it turned out that everyone thought it was a planned joke, and they laughed. -
Joe Hughes 1 day agoHey, good work. I liked how you slowly bought the horror genre into it. We are making a film for the first Sydney (Aus) 48 hour comp. Can you answer a few questions for me? 1. Did you write the script in advance? How far into the 48 hrs did you actually start shooting? When did you finish shooting? Do you have any advice for a first timer (I have beein in a 24 hour comp).....Joe
