having a TV would be cool just to watch old videotapes on, because i can't do that on my computer. i use my computer to watch DVDs and internet videos and that's enough of a waste of time. i think people who watch broadcast TV are kind of weird. they all know about the "new shows" and stuff. it's kind of creepy.

hmm...dang...since I made that comment, suddenly, all my clips have been converted to long shots of someone giving me the finger.

the videos that the camera makes are very crisp AVIs. of course, i had to convert to mp4 for file size, which degraded quality, and then the flash conversion makes it even worse.

i think the differences between the SD400 and SD600 are probably minimal? i haven't really used the 400. even though i bashed my Fisher camera that Jake got me, it's pretty good for making vimeos since i just upload them straight from the camera. with the SD600 the clips are kind of big and need to be compressed first they take up a lot of room on the SD card. The Fisher still sucks majorly at taking stills though, whereas the 600 is amazing.
