Super cool. Great mellow vibe. I really like the shallow depth of field during her interview. Do you do that in camera? WHat kind of camera are you using?

Her interview was on a Nikon D5000 (fixed my comment), so I was probably using a 50mm 1.4 or maybe a 24-70mm f/2.8 lens for that.

Thanks Sebastien - I experiment with different things in each video but for the stillmotion footage I grade the stills in Adobe Photoshop Camera Raw and for the video footage (usually the interviews) I use Color and color correction in FCP.

Wow, Andrew. As a local, I participated in the first two Hound Ears Comps back around 1995, 1996, back when a girl who could pull a couple V4s had a good change of winning some loot! It's amazing to see how the competition has grown since then. Your video captures all the excitement.

Hey Crystal - Thanks! I think I was at the 96 Hound Ears too... Seems like forever ago and yeah it was a lot easier to win a new pair of Verve Yojimbos and a copy of Masters of Stone III! haha.
