On Monday, September 21, the Providence Montessori student body (toddler through 6th) participated in the International Day of Peace. Our students joined Montessori students across the globe to sing "Light a Candle for Peace" in celebration of the United Nations' International Day of Peace. The song was sung continuously by 65,000 children in 35 countries. The singing began in New Zealand and ended in the Hawaiian Islands.
