The Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority (SORTA) broke ground on the new $6.9 million Uptown Transit District on Friday, May 31, 2013. Once completed, the collection of transit hubs will allow for Metro bus service to continue to move away from its age-old 'Hub and Spoke' service model, and allow more direct connections to the region's second largest employment center.
