Our first highlights which features the debut of our Steadicam Pilot and our Glidetrack SD Compact.

Shot on our Sony HDR-FX1's and edited in Sony Vegas 9 with a little colour grading in Magic Bullet Looks.

This was one of the most perfect British days we have ever seen with beautiful clear skies. We shot parts using a circular polarizer for those deep blue skies but for the rest it was using just the built in ND filters on the FX1.

Both Elizabeth and Dave are fans of the 16mm film look but we lacked the equipment needed to actually film to film. So, we edited it in post to give it that 16mm, 16fps film look.

Thanks, we actually planned that bit as we had an idea how we wanted the video to play out with the music. Thankfully both Elizabeth and Dave were up for it :)

    Hi Danny

Lovely. You work that fx1 baby. Looks so beautiful and clean. And we were at Notley earlier this year with the giant chess board and croquet!!! Like the voice overs too, I'm gonna be inspired now!!

Thanks David. I fear we have pushed the FX1 as far as we can, so where do we go from here? Watch this space.

awesome video im thinking about trying wedding videos in the summer! I was just wondering what settings you use to render with, im using Sony Vegas Pro 9 as well and cant seem to the crisp picture rendering for HD video. annddd for some reason the magic bullet looks i bought a little while ago doesnt work with Pro 9 but it seems to work with Pro 8? thanks and ahh amazing shots they blew me away

Hi Alex, pretty much just follow the guide here eugenia.gnomefiles.org/2007/11/09/exporting-with-vegas-for-vimeo-hd/

Ours is a bit sharper because of the cameras we use. The HDR-FX1. While your camera may have the high spec HD standards the lens is what lets you down. Also manual focus is the only way to get crisp images.

Magic bullet looks should work in vegas 9 but only the 32 bit version. We have both 32 and 64bit installed. We do most the work in 64bit but if we ever need magic bullets we go for 32bit.
