So as it has come to be in a far-away land of princesses and chivalrous others, a young girl's mommy goes to the corner grocery every day. She buys chocolates. She never buys the young girl's favorite chocolate although she knows which one that is. She always buys something different. Something different every day, although she buys it at exactly the same time each day. She never pays cash. She walks to the store but returns home in a taxi. It's always the same taxi. The same driver. The same route home. The same time. Every single day. The young girl is surprised when the wrong chocolates appear on the table. Every day. She is surprised. At exactly the same time. Every day. She never ….. ever ….. eats …. the chocolate.
