This boy tries to put one of the plastic worms into the narrow pipe. He gets the tail in, but when he lets go thinking it is in the pipe, it drops out because the other end is heavier than the tail. He steps down from his stool to retrieve the worm. In the meantime, another child comes along and places a worm in the pipe. The boy tries a second time to place his worm in the pipe. As he tries to finagle his worm in behind the other worm, it slips from his fingers and drops back into the water. He steps down from his stool again and retrieves his worm again. He works really hard with his fingers to get that squiggly worm into the pipe. It is intricate fine motor work, but the worm drops a third time into the water.
