SALTO System's new Clay™ access control via the cloud solution was the star of the show at this year's IFSEC exhibition in Birmingham, UK.
After 16 years at the NEC, IFSEC will be moving to London in 2014, so many visitors took the opportunity to visit the show at its Northern home for the last time before the move south. This resulted in a busy show with a good mix of both national and international visitors all wanting to see the latest innovations and new products from the leading players in the world of electronic access control.
Nominated for an access control product of the year award from the show organizers, Clay™ by SALTO combines a cloud-based intuitive software platform that is easy and fast to understand and manage, with high quality and design hardware that is easy and quick to install, providing the same features as wired systems at less than 70% of the cost.
The key hardware element is the Clay™ IQ that serves as the hub between the wireless lock and the cloud, and is so simple to set up, users need only plug it into a standard electrical socket. Neither router configuration, nor any other cabling is required.
Joining Clay™ on the stand was SALTO's new generation of XS4 REvolution access control platform, new SALTO GEO electronic cylinder range models, new anti panic bar fire safety device, new SALLIS wireless locking devices, an innovative and powerful new web-based access control platform and much more.
Marc Handels, Chief Marketing and Sales Officer (CMSO) for SALTO Systems said "IFSEC 2013 once again delivered an outstanding quantity of visitors all keen to see the latest new technology and innovations from SALTO. Our fantastic stand design also drew in extra visitors with many people commenting that the SALTO stand was one of the most attractive of the entire show and together with our revolutionary new Clay™ and XS4 REvolution platform re-design, we created something that was both special and unique, impressing both our partner network and a wide range of installers, consultants and end users."
