Premiered in March 2012 in Paris, "Libre / Reloaded" is a solo created for dancer-performer Emma Lewis by choreographer Eric Oberdorff and using the choreographic material of his piece "Libre" (2008) which was celebrated by critics and audiences as "an ode to poetry, light and body".
Here is what the press wrote after the premiere of "Libre / Reloaded":
"... from the back wall where she appears stuck to the luminous path that she follows, the dancer has of course her freedom of movement, but each of those that she ventures seems the result of a serious challenge to the pain. The fluid and liberated moves hit the attention, austere until the dark. And one can not help but see in this a way of beautifully crafted danced metaphysics..." (Philippe Verrièle in "Danse Magazine")
