Commissioned by Carolina Performing Arts at The University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill as part of it's "Rite of Spring at 100" celebration.

A full length orchestral program commemorating the 100th Anniversary of the premiere of the Ballet Russes "The Rite of Spring". A further exploration of abstract puppetry and music that Twist began exploring with his "Symphonie Fantastique" in 1998. Accompanied by Orchestra of St. Luke's in Memorial Hall in Chapel Hill, NC, Twist staged this world-premiere work, transforming traditional puppetry into kinetic fabric and smoke sculptures into what he calls “a ballet without dancers.”
Also staged are Basil's new versions of Stravinsky’s Pulcinella and Fireworks.
