Lovesick Clothing's Fall/Winter 2009 collection 'Living Dead' was released with a bang. The runway show was showcased the night of the monthly Kansas City Crossroads Art District annual 'First Friday' event centered around a thriving creative community in the heart of America. The Living Dead concept inspired for this line was the core of the aesthetics to our designs. At the heart of it all, each garment is associated with a different particular phrase from our Living Dead poem:

The tension of living dead
neither breathing nor a ghost
we are silly creatures
ever chasing what we run from most

loose these bonds that i may fly !
children follow the piper's song
once again our wings are tied
a thousand dead rock stars can't be wrong

a breath of death makes me feel better
with seeds forgotten in the earth
life is short before forever
from this grave of soil beauty will emerge

and those of us that rise will be radiant.
