Amazing Charlie ! And amazing video too !! Is that really me on that video ?? Ahah ! I wish I could do a video like this. I haven't watch what I made and I had to sell my HV40 yesterday to get the D90 (I'm trying to follow your step, master). Again, it was awesome !!
Thanks! I think I only used a third of what we shot. We have to do it again sometime soon. Maybe I can come there next year :) I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with the D90. I think it is a good choice since you already have a great video camera.
Yeah, we have to think about something !!! I just got, like really right now got an idea that we should think about. Sending you a mail.
Did I say I like the music !!!
Thank you very much! It took awhile to put together. I have lots of good stuff I didn't get to use. The music is by Nobody and the title is The Coast Is Clear (For Fireworks)
visually awesome on three different levels: the first bit made me should YEA LOONACHIC! and i really like the photos, 2 bundles going, and one side seems like people and culture and the other seems more urban architecture/chicago as a city and then as some point the stacks almost switch. it was very cool. the stop motion with the light drawing was really dope too.
THEN you go all awesome time lapse with the smokey mountains. NICE!
and then you approach the complete opposite - big dirty city. i also dug that because its how i feel at the end of a trip and its the “almost home” shot for me. its chaotic and the traffic is nuts and at the same time you want to stop and look at all the lights and crazy shit going on but if you do you will get rear ended so you cant, you just go on by the short glimpses you get in between cursing out drivers from the dirty jerz. …well at least that’s what it reminded me of… and then VIOLA! Vimeo crew! yay!
excellent job, charlie. next time you roll through, hit me up! :D
cool seeing Remi in it too; it makes me happy i got a chance to hang out with him while he was here.
Dude that is so awesome! You picked up on lots of the stuff I was goin for :) Thank you!
I wish I could have stayed longer because I wanted to meetup with you. I'm glad you were able to meet Remi. I had lots of fun with him, he is such a great guy. Next time I will be sure to hit you up.
Hi Charlie, that's brilliant! Looks like you guys had a great time. I especially like the long exposure painting parts.. Haven't seen that done as a timelapse before.
So many views, so many "likes". This must be tremendous validation for you! I love the soundtrack and plan to use this song in one of my future projects :)
Excellent!
pretty nice edit work
