Like Charlie I am curious how you got some of the objects to appear uncut. Due to perspective you would need different size halves, which is entirely possible, but for things like the stereo that would be a bunch of work!
Also... did you have a printer on location for the center cup? My imagination is tingling.
You are also correct with the printer, it was on location and we calibrated the colours onset for a perfect match.

From the staert, the whole thing looks really CG - as if the whole set is composited layers of cg models and the hands shot on a blue screen... Why has it ended up looking like that?
