“Some Group Assemble Required (SGAR)” is a participatory sculpture first shown at the Good Bad Art Collective, Brooklyn in 2001 and again at the Cranbrook Art Museum in 2002. Hot glue, grey paint, beer, and plastic car models are placed on a plywood table before an opening. Over the course of the opening, people build the sculpture as a group without instruction. After the exhibition, the work is documented and then destroyed. This version (SGAR_3) was built for the first show at OTO in September 2007.
