Very well done! I thought the graphics were great all around. The voice acting is great...though the lip sync is off it is %100 understandable why it is all voice over and it sounds spot on. Great writing and great everything. Look forward to part 2.

Wow, that is an incredible production for a fan effort. I'm seriously impressed.

Just curious, was this filmed chronologically? A lot of the scenes in the beginning, I didn't like so much, but it got a lot better in terms of quality, shot choices, directing and all that. From the trailer 1 sequence on, that shit was incredible.

Man, seriously, to be honest I thought the beginning was kind of amateur, but the last 30 minutes were absolutely breathtaking. Absolutely breathtaking. I just had to post again to say how intense it got, how messages were actually being conveyed without seeming pretentious, or trying too hard it was just, there. I really really loved the film. Damn son, the composition during the shootout? That was ace.

I hope this gets an award of some sort and a T.V. Spot! I wonder if Hideo Kojima has contacted them and has seen it himself. Awesome work! So, this was part one of three? When will we see the next two parts?! Have they even been filmed yet? I mean, they've been working on this the past three years. I guess they are just releasing it in increments? Looking forward to it! Hive Division, good luck in future endeavors.

This is far beyond any fanmade production I've ever seen. I can't still believe. People should pay to watch this :) ...But then again, this is a work of passion.

That was amazing, I expected no less, fantastic work, I would "Pay" to see a sequel, that's right, I'd pay money to see this, it's brilliant, well done, I top my hat to all those involved in this, was done quite well and deserves praise.

Around the final quarter of the movie, that's the most amazing, Snake fighting the Metal Gear, pure brilliance, I can't describe how well done this is, how much praise it deserves.

For a fan project, this sure beats any movie I've seen recently.

I think District 9 has just been replaced as top movie of 2009 in my books with Metal Gear Solid: Philanthropy.

Okay, seriously, had to post a second comment, I have to say I loved the movie, the humor was great, not too much, not too little, the DS, the Video Game Character suggestion and even the Ass looking, all of it was at the right time and the right moment, it wasn't half assed either, it was spectacular.

You should really promote the movie more and more to get it more recognised, and please, somehow get a DVD copy, I want this on my shelf, lol.

Amazing movie, I'm going to watch it a second time tomorrow maybe, and some friends of mine are huge Metal Gear fans, they'll freak when they hear how good this is!

I have to agree with a lot of people though. Overall the movie was great, but you can definitely notice the difference in quality from the first quarter when compared to the last 2/3rds. Also, FREAKING EPIC, all those crazy soldiers charging arms tech like that, WOW. But also LOL at the end, exactly like The Fellowship of the Ring, but not a bad thing at all though.

that introsequence with the cool mgs2effects almost made me cry! Thats how awesome it was!

THIS MOVIE WAS AMAZING!!!! I literally made an account specifically just to comment on how F$#king amazing of a job Hive has done.

The story line was smooth. I was actually Heartbroken towards the end of the movie when I realized it was going to be ending without a conclusion.

PLEASE keep up the good work, take as long as you need to take in making the other parts !

Superb, utterly exceptional film considering the lack of budget and resources I'm sure, coupled with the non-profit production, makes this unquestionably AWESOME!

The voice acting was spot on, especially Snake, I kept asking myself throughout the film "There's no way they could have afforded David Hayter... right? Right?... shiiit..." and then I realised, "Well no, they couldn't, but it doesn't matter cause the VO Artist is fucking talented! That's what!" lol.

Soundtrack was great, effects were great the whole damn thing far exceeded my expectations and I loved the outtakes at the end, hilarious

"Hmm... What?! No, I'm fine with my long distance coverage!... *grumble grumble*"

It reminded me of the day when I wanted to also do a movie of Metal Gear, but I'm just excited that someone finally did it after all this time!!!! Very inspiring!!! I cannot wait for The two sequels!!!! Though this was a fan movie, it topped a lot of Hollywood Produced movies lately. I'm going to do all I can to make sure people know this movie exists, and I hope you guys do get all of the recognition you are looking for. I'm really anxious to learn about that mysterious character!!!!

Avete dimostrato al mondo la pasta di cui siete fatti e di cui l'Italia è fatta, regalandoci un film che mi ha emozionato molto. Complimenti al regista Giacomo Talamini, agli attori la cui recitazione non è stata mai sopra le righe, dimostrando anzi una bravura che solo dei seri professionisti possiedono. Un applauso al direttore della fotografia e ai lead team per i loro effetti speciali, inseriti all'interno del film direi, alla James Cameron, ossia integrati perfettamente nella storia senza che prendano sopravvento su di essa. Non dimentichiamo la musica che ha saputo sottolineare con maestria i momenti del film , ora dolce e fluida come i sentimenti dei personaggi ora dura e greve come la pioggia dei proiettili sparati nelle scene d'azione. Okay! Basta!! Non voglio sembrare troppo piacione ma sono rimasto folgorato dal lavoro di equipe che avete saputo compiere. Great movie. I hope that´s enough feedback to start part 2 and 3 :)

This movie should be a model on which successive Metal Gear Solid franchise projects are based off.
The fact that this movie was undertaken by a group of Italian filmmakers on a modest budget should put Hollywood to shame. The blending of live action and special effects renderings were on par and the script left room for new avenues to be explored.
If Mr. Kojima isn't paying attention to this film then I don't know what to say.
This is the team you want to make the first feature length film.
At least bring them in as creative consultants.

I've registered on the site just cause I had to tell you how impressed I was. I read a couple of reviews from the IMDB site and there was a couple saying.. past 15 mins it all goes a bit tits up.

Honestly.. I thought it was great!! Had me gripped, the action scenes were quality. Even though this is a "low-budget and fan based production", I would class this as better than some of the movies I've seen recently in the cinema!

You cast Snake, just right too, voice, look was perfect.

Another specific thing I loved from the movie was the soundtrack, it was brilliant. You man Daniel James (i guess it was him as his name was on the credits) the soundtrack accompnying this movie is worthy of Harry Gregorson Williams!

I think I've mentioned everything.. just keep it up, make parts 2 & 3 as I really want to see what happens!

If Hideo Kojima and Konami are not keeping thier eye on you guys I'd be very surpised!
