A test shoot I did with a canon 5d Mark II. I used a 16-35 2.8 L as well as classic nikon 35mm 2.0 on a ef converter for the lower shot from the lower drivers side. The camera was mounted with a custom cheese board and suction cups from a sticky pod kit, as well as a bogen tripod strapped to rear bumper. It was edited in final cut pro. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.

3 months ago any pics of your rig ?, seemed wonderfully smooth.. -
David Berrey 3 months agoI do I will have to find them. I drilled a hole in the lens hood of my 16-35 L so the camera could have more then one mounting point. and on the shot from the lower side I strapped my tripod to the bumper and used the Nikon 35mm because it was lighter. I checked some of your vids. They look good. those old lenses are built solid -
alaric productions 2 months agoAwesome stuff. Would have been nice to see it abit brighter. Is it colour graded? Maybe play with the grading a little. My fav shot is from the top of the car. -
David Berrey 2 months agoYea that was my first time using apple color, I was trying to get that glossy look on the car. Mounting a dslr is a lot easier the mounting the xl-h1 or something like that a lot smoother and wider too. -

2 months ago I'm doing a music video next weekend all about cars but I'd be scared as hell to attach my camera to a car unless the client rents a MKII how did you make sure it was not gonna fall off? -
David Berrey 2 months agoI had cords connecting it to the car so if the suction cups did come off, the camera wouldnt go with it. and that baby is insured, just get some cheap dent pulling suction cups and start mounting, as many points of contact as possible
