A 1080p video shot at 29.97fps with the Canon EOS Rebel SL1/100D HD DSLR paired with the Rokinon 35mm T1.5 Cine lens. Edited with Apple iMovie'09 and compressed with Quicktime to export a 300mb H264 video file at High quality. For audio capture, I used a Rode VideoMic shotgun microphone with Rycote Lyre suspension mount. For support, I used a Manfrotto MVH500AH fluid video head with Benro 3580 tripod legs. To control the incoming exposure to maintain the T1.5 aperture, I used a FADER Mark II variable neutral density filter. To aid in critical focus, I used a Zacuto Z-Finder Pro 2.5x with the new version 2 Gorilla Plate and Zacuto Frame for GH3 to mount the LCD loupe to the smaller Canon EOS Rebel SL1 body.

My Canon EOS Rebel SL1 and Rokinon 35mm T3.5 Cine lens video test was shot in Fort De Soto Beach, Florida. The waning light and glorious sunset provided the perfect atmosphere to capture in Full HD some beach time fun
