Crescendo

The second of two performances for V.art09, an artists' run festival in Värnamo, Sweden, September 11-13, 2009. Participants were asked to make a crescendo using their voices and their height. Arranged in order of height they walked onto the loading bay of a disused factory. Each person began singing (anything, but no words) and continued to sing as s/he walked onto the ramp. When the line was complete (with everyone still singing) and the crescendo at its loudest, the shortest person left the ramp and immediately stopped singing followed, in sequence, by the rest of the group.
