    hi,

I'm kinda new to this sort of time lapse thing, can you please tell me how you did this? I would also be very interested in what camera and lens you use for this, and also, does shutter speed affect the amount of motion blur one can achieve? Lastly, can anyone make one of these videos or do you have to have special training?

Oh, and finally - nice video, it made me smile a lot ;-)

Thanks kindly in advance of any advice you can offer and that pie does look great :D

Hey thanks! I simply set down my HV30 and recorded for 20 minutes or so. I used the stock lens, and just shot it in 24p. I've never really done one to this scale before. To be honest, I forgot my camera was recording, so this is almost an accidental time lapse. I'm glad I got it though.

wow! Thanks for the quick response!!!

So it looks like anyone can do a time lapse then? That's great - it gives me a lot of encouragement!!! I'm glad you captured this and thank you for sharing :)

Hey, just wanted to throw in my two cents, since I've been shooting quite a few time lapses with my DSLR in the past few days. This guide at photojojo gave me tons of info as to how to make one, shutter timing (important!), and software to use. Hope that helps :)

That's an awesome cabin/chalet. Cool timelapse... although I prefer real-time, and even that can be too fast for me every now and then.

Sweet! I dig the song. Very appropriate for a cool time lapse. When you say "music used with permission." Did you know someone in the band and ask them, or did you find their music on a royalty free website?
    Thanks for sharing!
  • Stephen Niebauer staff 2 months ago
Yeah, I simply asked them through email if I could use their music in some videos.

    Thanks for watching.
