This is a short video of a proposed interactive project for my thesis work. It involves a human participant walking past a row, aisle, or collection of media—in this case CD albums. As he or she walks past a row of albums, they trigger each album to play its contents.
This way, instead of a user not knowing what each album can offer in terms of music, it allows them to quickly browse and stumble across unfamiliar or forgotten tunes. This could easily apply to many other types of media including books, videos, magazines, vinyl, etc. This however requires the digitization of the "old" media.
