Joyce Wu begins shooting her feature film The Real Mikado in July 2013 where she has "a million locations and a million extras" for her comedy about an out of work actress who moves home and decides to put on a production of Gilbert and Sullivan's The Mikado to save her community theatre. Here Joyce talks about asking for money, crying in public and being an unexpected inspiration to a younger generation of filmmakers.
