HV20, Apefos 35mm adapter and a nice Asanuma 35-105 f3.5 zoom lens. See the smooth zoom and nice bokeh provided by the Asanuma lens. It also has a constant aperture and light does not change when zooming. zoom ring are independent and focus can be fixed when zooming too. The best bokeh starts at f5.6
HV20, Apefos e uma bela lente Asanuma 35-105mm f3.5 zoom. VEja o zoom macio e o belo desfoque desta lente. Ela tem uma constante abertura de f3.5 então a luz não muda durante o zoom. O anel de foco é independente do anel de zoom então o foco fica constante enquanto se faz o zoom. O melhor desfoque de fundo é obtido a partir de f5.6

Why is this tagged with Letus, SGPro and such, when this is clearly done with Apefos?

how well does this lens perfom indoors?
  • apefos 7 months ago
It performs well if you have enough light. To shot indoors like inside a house I recomend two 1000w lights. The prime lenses at 1.4 are best recomended to shot indoors.

im really loving this lens! amazing dof for a f3.5 zoom lens, where exactly did you get yours? I cant find one anywhere? :(
  • apefos 7 months ago
You can found this lens in ebay. There is another one with same specifications: Canon FD 35-105 f3.5

have you had any experience with the nikkor 35-105 f3.5?
  • apefos 6 months ago
No, I never used it. You need to check if you can get the fixed focus when zooming with it. I used a nikkor 75-150 f3.5, a nice lens, but the focus changes when zooming.
  • Maz1878 6 months ago
how do you tell whether a lens has fixed focus when zooming or not?
  • apefos 6 months ago
Simple. You put the lens in a photo camera or in the 35mm adapter, put the zoom in maximum. focus an object 2 meters away. Start changing the zoom and pay atention to see if focus changes or not. You need to try it. Usualy, but not always, the two rings lenses can keep focus unchange when zooming. The two rings lenses are esay to do zoom without shudder the camera.

Thanks, the reason I asked is because I asked some people about some lenses and they said they were not sure whether they are fixed focus or not.

I found some new lenses for a pretty good price: Tamron 28-105 f2.8 and the Tamron 17-50 f2.8. Not 100% sure if they are fixed focus though.

I would like to see how big the setup looks with the adapter and the zoom lens. Could you possibly post a picture somewhere (like flickr, picasaweb) and post a link.
    Thanks!

Does it also work with the NIkon NIkkor lenses? Can you put all 50 mm lensen on the apefos, whether it is nikon or samsung etc.
  • apefos 2 months ago
I do not know samsung lenses. The Apefos can use Nikon, Canon FD, Canon EOS EF, Pentax K, Olimpus Zuiko, Minolta MC/MD. Thanks.
