Our Vows (because they are almost impossible to hear):
BRIAN: My dearest Callie, I vow today to cherish you and only you for as long as I live. I will boldly and gently be the head of our house, loving you as I love myself, and I will joyfully take you as my helpmate all of my days. I will reflect Christ as best as I can, and ask forgiveness when I fail. I will be faithful in body and mind, and earnestly work to deepen our friendship always. I will walk beside you as we follow the tracks of the One who goes before us. I take you, Callie, as my wife and my best friend, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, as long as we both shall live.
CALLIE: My dearest Brian, I stand before you today and promise to be your wife. I promise to treasure you and to thank God for you, to forgive you and to encourage you. I will guard my heart and my mind, keeping myself only for you as I choose to love and to serve you. I will respect you as the leader of our family, and I promise to pray for you, that you will lead with courage wherever God may call us. When we walk through the shadows of this life, I will remind you of God's faithfulness and goodness. I promise to serve and praise the Lord with you, that together we may grow into the likeness of Christ. I take you, Brian, as my husband and my best friend, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish as long as we both shall live.
