Daniel Valente - how long did it take? Impossible to say as I had to do it in my spare time, often not able to do anything on it for days.
Cory Taylor - a place to download? Not at the moment. It has been entered in this years Blender festival [23, 24, 25 Oct] so you will probably be able to download it from there, the format being xvid.
