Directors: Paola Persic + Marta Batinic
Production: Filmaktiv 2007.
// The short documentary "Rock'n'Wool" (Filmaktiv, 2007.) emphasizes ecological and legal issues between Rockwool (a Danish company that produces stone wool fiber and engineered products for insulation) and the local population in Podpićan, Croatia. The film focuses on the lack of transparency in public discussions and the privatization of the study of environmental impact. Rockwool's method is in fact a paradigm of how things work in the whole country.
// The film is a result of video-activistic workshop in 2006/2007 and it has been screened on several film festival such as Liburnia Film Festival 2007. and RAF - Review of Amateur Film, Zagreb in 2008.
