The RNG35 is switching from a static adapter, to an oscillating adapter. The difference can be seen in this video (yes boring footage I know) at about 28 seconds when the vibration gets turned off and it reveals some dust that could have ruined the shot.

I have an hv20...I have been to your website and I am not sure what I would need in order to use the rng35 with the hv 20. I really like the look of this and for a great price, could you direct me to some info or just let me know...Thanks!

rng35.com/order.html $574 plus $19 for a ring adapter + you need to have a Canon EOS slr lens.
And then you have to carry this monster with you and be careful not to break the videocam lens mount. It must be very heavy and akward to use. Other than that is a great tool.
